Just curious. Does anyone else here follow the Patriot Nurse on You Tube? She is a prepper, and seems to be spot on with good sound medical advice; things to watch out for and plan for if TSHTF. IMHO, well worth watching her stuff.

I check her out fairly often. Another great one to check out is Doc Bones and Nurse Amy over at DoomandBloom.net on youtube they are DrBones NurseAmy . He's a Dr retired after 40 yrs and she's a nurse but is heavy into herbal healing and alternative medicines for post SHTF.I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you!

That's cool. Great resource there. Nice to hear that they are good people in person too, that they are real and the same as they portray on youtube or TV. Not like some of these "stars" you hear about that if you meet them in real life they turn out to be as# clowns.I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you!

Thanks for your input. It is very reassuring to hear the advice is sound, especially, from other medical professionals. The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is you are stupid, and make bad decisions.

They are on the expert council on The Survival Podcast so I hear them every week on various medical questions. They have their own podcast too but before when I looked it up I had issues getting it to play. I need to try it out again.Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum

oh and Nurse Amy has a line of really awesome first aid kits and will also customize. They're a little pricey but all top shelf items. Hoping to have some money left in my HSA account from work at the end of the year to buy one or at least to cover a decent chunk
