  • 2 Must Have Books

Since I want to work on my wild edibles I was told to pick up these two books and let me tell you they are AWESOME and well worth the purchase. I will mention that the author (Samuel Thayer) is from my general area so people in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa and Illinois will greatly benefit from them. To be honest though I would have even purchased them if I lived in Texas!

Very good information folks and trust me, if something isn't worth buying I will be the first to tell you. I don't get any kickbacks from any gear I purchase.

      Snow Walker,
The link below is a good source for DVDs to complement the books you recommended.

SnowWalker, are the photos good quality? I have a book also but do to it's size, the quality of the photography and my eyesight as corrected, many of the plants are impossible to compare.

What are the book titles? I have one put out by the Missouri Conservation Department, but it only has black and white drawings, Wild Edibles of Missouri. It's OK, but I would really like to have a few more with better plant descriptions. Thanks.
