  • Bushcrafting/Wilderness Survival Classes

If anyone knows of any classes like this in the Upper Midwest (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa or Illinois) I would appreciate it if you would let me know.

I was looking for this fall and if anyone else would be interested that would be a plus.

    Always room to learn!

    Thank You

There is a GREAT gathering happening in August on Bois Blanc Island in Michigan- I will post details when I can. It is seriously not to be missed.

          Make sure you do!

Is this in the U.P.? If so, how far from the Porkies?

It is in the channel between the LP and the UP- near Cheboygan and the Macinac Bridge. You HAVE to do this- MANY classes every day, great people, good times for sure.

              Here ya go!!!

check this out!!!! We are busy everyday loading more stuff on this site.

At least 3 birchbark canoes- including a 25' voyager model- and a dugout will be available, including some trips between islands in the historic straits! More instructors, classes, and symposiums posted every day!

Are you going by chance? Why don't you post a new thread about this in specific.

Thank You and keep in touch!

If you have an active Scout Troop near you.....you could see about volunteering to help if they are doing the "Mountain Man" rendezvous.

These are usually pretty in depth classes in bushcraft....give knowledge....take knowledge.....:)
