the two have nothing in common, unless you're stupid enough to only have 10 items, no gun, etc, as your shtf "preps". Shtf will be for LIFE. the show is limited to 100 days. You cant just tap out if shtf. If you do, it's suicide. Your playing around camping is not limited by having to film everything, be limited to such a small amount of gear, dumped off in late fall in a proven worthless area, no food, etc. If the area was not worthless, it would be crawling with people.
