i think that is a touchy subject with diesel someone else made mention of it in the past i do belive the outcome was whatever you do like that you need to do it through pm's i do agree but i also need to follow the rules you can pm big saw or hell just ask him here that way all the new comers will get the answer as well and feel free to pm me i am personally in we can discuss through the pm's

Just thinking , most everyones off on New Years Day, Correct? Why don't we start the new year off the right way and meet up in Uwharrie on the 1st? It at least gives us a month to plan this thing out a bit.

Sc/nc meetup???

I think that a NC/SC meet-up would be great. Someone in an earlier post mentioned Uwharrie National Forest. That is a great spot. We can hunt and fish, if ya got a liscense, hike the trails, do an overnight thing maybe on a Friday or Saturday. There are plenty of peeps that are close to the UNF. With the cooler weather we can bring out the heavier gear and tesat it out, if you havent already. Also there will be NO mesquitos, YEA BABY!!!

So I am in and I think that prkchp is in. Let's see who else is willing to do this. If we did it after the kids get out of school, those that have them could bring them as well.

MAybe this will be a better way to go since there will be no one person responsible for having people they truly don't know on their private property. This way we are on public lands and we get to know each other. MAybe later we can all meet on someones land for a XColony retreat or something.

I could meet for most of a Saturday, not much more than that. My work at home takes up most of my time away from the office.

Come on Southeast region, lets have a get together. Whats the harm? I'm willing, since our business is slow I can meet up almost any weekend. I believe it'd be nice to meet and exchange info/knowledge. Uwharrie National Forest has many camp sites available , and its located pretty much in central NC.

Well, I can see this still has not gone anywhere, but judging from other sites, that seems to be par for the course. The Squirrels and the Rubies get together and have taken themselves well beyond what can be shared here...
I still think we should have a meet and great and then plan from there. I did meet some fellow colonists back in the early spring and sharing and learning from each other in person is so much better. Uwharrie would be great, especially in the fall once it cools off a bit. Think about it.
