Joint BOL / Hunting Lease Poll #3

Just want to run a couple quick polls to gauge if it makes sense for me to put together a joint use piece of land for camping, recreation, and mostly as a BOL in event of emergency.

It would be run like a hunting lease with monthly or quarterly payments

Rules would need to be abided by, or your lease would be terminated

Few things I need to poll so please participate in the other polls as well if you would TRULY be interested in a land lease in western NC

Serious, yes. We (family) have started looking at property in WNC, with a focus on Graham and surrounding counties. We are still about two years from where we can comfortably purchase land on our own, but are open to a group, under the right conditions and circumstances. Some of the criteria we have been using when perusing land: south facing slope(s), level area for buildings and gardens, natural spring(s) or year round stream, border with NF land and/or corporate lands, no public water & power, limited access or landlocked (best).

I am intrested, location and land size being a question. Where I live in Gastonia, I need a good BOL away from Charlotte.

I would like to know how you would feel about looking at some property that is as close as you can get to some prime hunting area in WNC, few neghibors, fairly secluded, off the beaten path...let me know
