  • 100 hour candle group buy NC Triad area

    Hey guys,

A small group of people I work with get a group rate on select items from Emergency Essentials. This month one of the specials is the 100 hour candle seen in the image below. In order to get the group rate, we have to buy at least 24 candles. I only want 6 to 10 candles. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in getting a few of these as well. As the ad states, they are $3.00 each (reg $4.95) I'll eat the shipping cost.

The reason that I posted this here and not in the gear, or gear deals forum, is that I don't want to get into the whole shipping drama when the candles arrive. This way, I can just meet you somewhere locally and exchange candles for cash.

If someone out of the area really really wants in on this, please PM me and maybe we can work out the shipping.

    Chris

We now have enough interested to easily make the 24 required. I plan to order next Tuesday the 29th, so if anyone else wants in, post up or PM me with how many you want. I don't need any cash up front, just when you take delivery of your candles.

Deadline for getting in will be Tuesday at noon.

                    Hey prkchp,

I doubt that we'll do another candle order for a while, however, if you can generate enough interest to guarantee an order of at least 24 candles, I would be happy to order them for you through our group.

A better thought would be for you to form a local Elgin group. It's very simple, and would save you the trouble of traveling north to Greensboro to pickup supplies. You don't need a lot of people, just enough to justify buying in bulk. My group consist of only 4 core members, with families. Some prices at EE aren't that great, but sometimes you can find a real bargain. Plus.... I just found out late yesterday, that ALL group orders are shipped FREE!!!:D
