Assuming that it'll be cold on the day of the event, should we plan on meeting inside? Also, perhaps we could plan to have a meal at some local joint where we could chat a bit and get to know each other after the gun show. Informal, come if you want, stay as long as you like kinda thing, perhaps at a place that offers a buffet, and a back room that we could reserve?
Just thinking out loud here, but a first meeting that allows an opportunity for extended conversation, as well as an easy way out kinda makes sense to me.
Perhaps a place that does sell adult beverages?
