  • EDC bags, EDC pouches or EDC tins contest.

Let’s see photos of your EDC bags, pouches or tins with a description of the contents they hold. This contest is for Every Day Carry only. My thought behind this contest is that there are many cherries and lurkers who may benefit from seeing actual photos of what people carry and why. Please include with the photo a description of the contents and your general geographic location and your setting. (Example) for me - North East / rural / urban. Now here is how it will work every member that submits a photo and all of the information required will have there names thrown into a box and on 11:00 pm Friday night 06/17/2011 I will reach in and pull one name out of the box and that person will win the items shown in the photo (iron on patches) plus a couple of other cool things. I will post the winners handle and send the winner a PM so they can PM me back where they want the prize sent. This contest is being put on by me; Omegaman and not Survival Magazine. Please PM me with any questions. Note: no entry will be excepted with out a photo. Ok so I just added a glock keyring, a buck knives axe lapel pin and a rare Ka-bar 110 anniversary lapel pin and there will be more.

Here is my EDC bag and its contents as an example and yes all of that stuff is really in that bag and then some. I have added a rolly polly dump pouch to this bag that will hold a 32 oz. kleen kanteen. I do have room to build out as needed but this is how I grab and carry this bag every day. I am not going into the list of supplies just because they are listed in a couple of other threads on the forum

I would love to participate, but in our current situation I work at home and the wife is always close so we base our EDC out of the house and also have one in our vehicle. Her work vehicle is a EDC on wheels you might say!

I am still in the infant stages of build this bag. I intend this to be my GHB, and I plan on walking home from work once a month.
I still need quite a few things, but here is what I have now:
USGI style poncho, rolled up and secured with 2 boot bands
Under Armor cold gear shirt, for cold weather/layering
                    folding Buck knife
                    Gerber tool
                    HEPA mask
                    chem lights
looks like my 550 cord didnt make it into the picture, but i have 50 feet of it
                    red LED flash light
                    carabiner
                    reference book(such a cool book!)
                    Kimber Ultracarry
4 mags(not counting the three full size mags for my EDC Rock Island!)

still have some work to do, but I guess its a start.

I try not to recycle pictures if I can help it, so this is fresh from 1 hour ago straight from my office floor. It was also taken from my phone, so the quality sucks. Sorry
