Survival Magazine Challenge Coin

How many people would be interested in a Survival Magazine Challenge Coin?

A way to verify membership, prove your passion for the site, contribute to the cause and to have something that's just darn cool?

I'm thinking of producing 1 for sale, any member can buy one

And possibly producing 1 or 2 different ones that can NOT be bought but must be earned through extraordinary participation and devotion to the site over time.

1 for Wilderness Knowledge & Participation and 1 for Being Prepared for Disasters etc

Coins are NOT cheap, and must be done in high volume so I'm going to setup some polls to gauge true interest and possible pricing, let me know your thoughts.

I assure you they will be done well and be very cool.

If not interested no biggie, I've been asked for one several time though

There is a guy in my neck of the woods that can cast them from pewter.....he makes them for other organizations....

I would make us earn it though.

Not sure how it would work, but forcing someone to 'achieve' it, rather than just buy it, would increase it's value.

Maybe you make one for purchase, and a special one for rewards.

nice idea. Would also be cool to have small silver ones marked with silver content. I keep medium size amounts around in case the economy fails silver is the ticket. Would be cool to have a couple that not only suports the site but adds to our being prepared.
