Scooters
Diesel,
+1000000000000000000000000000000000 on the Scooter idea.
I have a few miles on Vespas (the older ones) and a modern Aprilia (50 cc with the hop-up kit...) Name brand Scoot's are usually pretty good, some of the cheaper imports have NO SPARES in country, be very very careful when buying as you might not be able to get silly things like cables, coils, pistons/rings etc.

600cc sport bikes DO NOT GET 80+ mpg, more like 40-45mpg if u drive very calm, and alot less if you goose it alot which is easy to want to do on a sportbike. Plus there's a big cost difference as well which may be an issue for some people.

600cc sport bikes get comparable gas mileage and go a hell of a lot faster. 150cc would be like a Vespa or something, right? I'd rather have a 600cc sport bike, or better yet, a 450cc four stroke dirt bike. Again, comparable gas mileage, better off road ability, and more storage space. Only problem is that they cost a fair bit more than a Vespa in most cases.....

Probably is a fake but it has an interesting breech at the back so it may just be parts from a real recoiless rifle.

Trailers
I liked this trailer for smaller vehicles such as the FJ or Jeep.Attached Files

Certainly it was never meant to be fired in motion but instead setup to fire from a pre-dug firing pit with appropriate camoflage and fall back positions.

Possibly a viable alternative transportation for someone without a family. But with family, not so good.

well it's only a last resort backup mode of transportation.. but you could outfit it with sadle bags, and of course carry your pack on your back.
LOL hold your breath for said picture hahahah

I've recently decided they a great addition to my SHTF equipment is actually a scooter. Have done alot of research on this. When it goes down fuel will probably be scarce, or money to buy fuel not available and the grid may be down etc.
SO... Scooters came to mind
a 150cc Scooter can do 60 mph or more depending on rider weight.
And they get 80MPG
They have small tanks between 2-4 gallons
BUT if u came across a single gallon of gas.. it would get you rather far for very little.
I personally feel it's a great idea.
The 50cc scooters by the way only do about 30, that seems to slow for me and a little dangerous on the road.Tags: None
