So going back to the original intent of this thread... Regular in central PA is running $3.55 to 3.82. Doesn't see to be rhyme or reason. That is now the lowest in weeks and it just got down there since the end of last week then it was around $3.67. I forgot to look at Diesel, but I was thinking $5,70'ishI can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you!

Here, gas is $2.80 for brand name and $2.50 for spot gas.
We were buying crude from Russia and now, from Venezuela.
Neither nation is one I'd choose to do business with.
Chevron received an expanded U.S. license allowing it to resume production in Venezuela and to import the South American country's crude into the United States.
Unfortunately, prices will not drop as "The deal restricts cash payments to Venezuela, however, which could reduce the amount of oil available to Chevron."
A few years ago, the US was exporting oil and regular gas was under $2.00.
Country Guy,
Is there a reason for such a difference between PA and GA or SC?

PA has like the second highest gas tax in the country. I think it is only behind California but not by much. I miss when we used to live in SC back in the early 00's. My company has our HQ in the upstate near GV so I have a lot of friends that way and hear nearly weekly how cheap it is down that way.I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you!
