Being the kid of an artist and a carreer soldier I have picked up a few odd skills over time. I have done a hitch in the Alaska Nat Guard as an Avaition Electrician, but that's not much help to the average homeower. I currently work in an animal clinic (pets) and for a soil/asphalt testing lab. (Hubby is a geo-engineer)
I know a bit about carpentry, sculpture, arctic survival/first aid (spent a few years as ski patrol for a family hill) and making sewing. And I was an old school girl scout. The ones before they had computer and technology badges.
