I have a pop up that I LOVE and will never part with. It's smaller than a teardrop, looks just like a 6x8 box, but once opened: 2 king size beds, a dinette that converts into a double bed, got water, fridge, 2 stoves, toilet and runs on battery/elec/propane. Easy to tote, easy to camouflage.
And now the way the economy is you can get one dirt cheap with all the conveniences.

the smaller camp and travel trailer dealers usually have some of them for under $8,000, and used ones in good shape go for about $5,000 or less. Personally I love them due to small size, ease of moving and easy to hide as in a bug out bag, just a bit larger. I own a 14 ft 1956 Shasta camp trailer that I've restored, no facilities, but pulls easily behind my 4 banger Toyota Tacoma, and it's easy to hide in the forest. I still like the smaller tear drop though.
