They are dedicated and devoted to providing the best Survival & Preparedness Gear available. They have been around for decades and really excel in the Long Term Food Storage Category.
Ever consider a teardrop camper set up on your BOL? Weigh less than a 1000lbs, and could be pulled by your 4 wheeler. I am about 80% complete with mine right now. I had to stop building it because I moved and no longer have the big 30'X40' shop.
Sweet...I've wanted to build one forever, but never seem to find the time.....just drag yours over here, and I'll finish it up for ya...;)

What would I search to find one of these? I really like it, and my little Ford Ranger with 240k miles and a four banger could pull it. I like it and I am going to look for one.
If you have a wire welder and some rudemantary structural skills, you can find free plans online and build it on the cheap, to your specs....or I'd custom make you one for a nominal fee....not like I'm busy right at the moment...hell, I'd even deliver...

I have a ton of info on them, but I didn't find it very helpful. Just decide how big you want it, and start building. I went with a 4X8 and bought the trailer from Tractor Supply for $319.00 and started cutting plywood. Let me know if you want any of the info I have. I will try to send you the stuff that I found useful.
I have a PDF with a lot of links. Some of them are not valid anymore, but most are good. I could not attach it, but I will be glad to email it to anyone who wants it.

my uncle had built one of these, really cool. On his, the whole back end opens up for the kitchen area.
It looks great, but when I *tried* to sit inside it, I was hit with a major attack of claustrophobia, which I never had before.
I like the door you've got on yours, cudalyon
Mine has the little kitchen area on the back as well, but I have not built the hatch for it yet. The hatch and the roof vent is all I have left to do on it. (got to have the vent, everyone eats beans when they camp.)
I've always thought these were way cool, so have bought a Harbor Freight 4x8 trailer, which is I believe the same as the tractor one you mentioned. I am building one that will slide off my trailer so I can use the trailer for other things when I need it, then slide it back on and attach it. It will pull easily behing my toyota tacoma four banger. I looked up a lot of stuff on them and got pretty excited so am building mine as time lets me.
For me the advantage is portability. Easily pulled, easy to hide in the forest when camping or hiding out in a national emergency, it's narrow enough to get into places folks won't be looking. I can cache supplies somewhere, and then haul my shelter in there when the time comes, jack it up, and I'm good to go.
Gotta love it.

this is a great site! , but does anyone plans for and have built a camper trailer out of a M-100 ammo jeep trailer? I have had one given to me and it is in decent shape. I would like some plans for a camper setup on this frame size. It will be my bugout trailer as well.
