is there such a thing as do it your self solar panels?
 Does any one have plans for do it your self solar panels , by this I mean made from scratch.
I would like to try to make a small scale one to start off with and if it works ,I would like to move up to a bigger level.
anybody tried the power for home? I would invest in it if I knew it was for real
$50 sounds like a pretty good deal. He claims that you can build a solar system for less than $200! and it's portable! (is that a good thing?). I think the value is in the step by step... time is money, and NOT having to re-invent the wheel would save countless hours... plus parts suppliers and such.
Part of the savings is by letting you in on a secret of how to find deep cycle batteries for free... (batteries are very costly).
I am tied up with other projects right now, but generating my own electricity is definitely on the list, so I may buy some how-to's somewhere, might give this one a shot.
Still would like to know if anyone else has taken the plunge.
The important thing to always remember is, you get what you pay for. After you figure out how easy everything is to install, check out Parts on sale This is for the do-it-yourself'ers
