in half an hour, anyone can have this sort of tarp-tent. In another half an hour, it can have a tripod instead of a single pole, making it much more capable of withstanding high winds.. If the winds get really bad, lower the tarp into being just a pile of canvas on the ground,, or just barely peaked to not have rain stand on it. That's the beauty of a tarp. It can be configured as needed. Pieces can be cut off of a tarp for other needs, too. without ruining it for its primary purpose.
