I have been leary of both hollow ground blades and partial serrations on a hard use field knife. I found one that had both and wanted to see how it performed. The partial serrations are field sharpenable with a flat stone. They were designed to "saw" through a deer's ribcage. I beat the crap of this knife and it came through like a champ. I still haven't made up my mind on the serrations though. I don't mind them, but probably will not get them on future knives. Thanks for looking.

I will never own a knife without serrations, in true survival and extended outing scenarios serrations are priceless for sawing through tough stuff like bone, and hard woods.

The serrations have never snagged or hung up on anything in my experience.

I for one like serrations on one of my carries. I know alot of people think it's supposed to act as a saw, but that's not true. It's for corrdage and other material to save the edge of the main blade. I really like the serrations for making super fine shavings. (firestarter)

like the holster also it is the one i carry on most of my excursions also i have been made fun of it by my older brother but got my revenge when we spent 5 hours looking for his CZ75 lost on a 4 wheeler trail and my standard Beretta m-9 was still with me
