My newest knife is the Gerber 06-F.A.S.T. It is a spring-loaded forward assist blade with a 3.8" tanto blade and an overall weight of 5.7 ounces. Out of 10, I give it an 7. The blade was unbelievable sharp out of the box and holds it edge pretty well. The locking mechanism is solid and has an all business handle. It will NOT slip out of your hand. The knife also has a glass breaker on the end.
The down sides:
It is pretty heavy for its blade length
The serrated edge takes up a lot of room and can get in the way
The up sides
Gerber quality
The Tanto blade is perfect for puncturing
The open assist is flawless with a solid locking mechanism
