knife making the pt945 way

    Just a quick message to let ya all know I didn't forget about this thread. Ill post a picture of some of my tools later. I promise to update again on the knife as soon as I get a couple paying jobs out of the way.

        I started to profile the blade a bit. But it still needs ground to the lines. For size.

          OPSEC says remove the map before taking the picture.....

          OSHA says get a guard on that bench grinder...:)

          That's an interesting drill press....been a while since I've seen that style....I've never actually seen one still in operation...cool.

            The drill press was a yard sale find, so was the bench grinder.
            Cost a whopping 6.00 for both.
            That grinder actually spins at about half the speed my other one does so its real good for profiling the blades.
            I bet osha would also like all of my taped extension cords and that my cutoff saw is direct wired it either on or off no trigger switch.

                  Some of my best tools are old as dirt.

                  I even have a hand drill that I still use. It is great because I can control the speed perfectly, and it doesn't need power.
