Slingbow anyone?

Anyone here using a slingbow yet? I've just started constructing mine and it's been pretty fun so far. The reason for posting in knives / edged weapons is that I'm making my own broadheads and arrows. I'll post some pics of my work soon. If you want more information on slingbows just search them on youtube. Dave Canterbury of the Pathfinders school has some good info on them. Neat tool for your bushpack kit.

i have used my slingbow for some hunting- i brought down a 80 pound wild pig with mine a few weeks back works greast

I have used mine to get fish with and a few squirrels(took a lot of missing to get those).

Please post a pic or give us a description of what a sling looks like and how it works. I do know what a whip bow is but I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing. I am going to try shooting arrows out a wrist rocket when I get a chance.

A sling bow is a wrist rocket with a wisker biscuit(for a bow) attacted between the post allowing to shoot arrows. Mine has sorta like a U bracket weled on bottom that extends to front to allow attaching of tube wrapped with small string for sling bow fishing.

Thanks; I like the idea. One of the things I dislike about bows is their size and bulkiness.
Now my next question do you need to modify common arrows are are they specially made for the sling bow.
