Awesome rough use knife for $10.00

I was lead to understand this design (yes it is the bolo) was for Lopping of heads.

I'm sure that it would lop off just about anything you took a fancy to swinging at.:D Truth be told, it's really to "blade heavy" to make a good fighting knife. I love it as a camp or bush knife though.

It most definitely has been used for that and because of it's design does it quite well. But most likely this design was first used by farmers in India or Indonesia, I always get the two confused.

Got it yesterday afternoon. It came out of the box SHARP...the weight is great...the blade is great. For $10 it is an awesome buy.

After camping, and doing some more things around the house, I'd say this is an outstanding blade for only $10. I am well pleased, and will probably order another...if I ever need another.

I'll take a wild guess at China. BTW that knife comes in 3 blade patterns at the same price, I believe it is 420 SS, not the best steel but the price is still right!

I picked up one of these, I believe it is made by cold steel

It is a full tang knife

and it is by far the single best bang per your buck you could possibly spend or find. Outstanding for the money! Same quality as many $100+ knives
