When the day comes and we all know it will. Who will you let in and who will you turn away? What questions would you ask yourself?

I've asked myself, whose life is worth less than mine and my families.

Did I make a list of those kept out?
Yes.

Is it a long list?
Yes, and some are relatives.

Does it matter, Man,Woman or Child?
No.

Was this easy?
No.

The people on my list, I no longer talk to them. Because if I'm friendly they will probably show up at my door. We haven't got there and already I am no longer my brothers keeper. I think we all hope and pray that no one comes.

I made an extra fuel tank for my truck and modified my Cab over camper so you don't notice it. With the 3 tanks I have 200 gals. This will let me round up my Sons and their families without stopping for fuel. I have stored quite a bit since the price dropped.

I've given this a cursory thought, but haven't really sat down w/the wife and made it concrete....I think we'll discuss this in the near future and put together our own list.

Very tough subject and I have considered it but I have not made a list. I am very impressed with your camper and truck modifcations. Very good subject.

If I ever showed I can guarantee that I would bring more then I would use. However I think that should SHTF I would bug out to the deep desert.

Good post, also consider a "ticket"!

A ticket is where you and others have a prearranged plan to bug out and that person is either supposed to bring a predetermined amount of supplies or already preposition them at the bug out location (BOL). That way you know those folks ain't gonna be depending on your charity and will provide at least something to get them through a certain period of time when they show up on your doorstep :eek:

A ticket is where you and others have a prearranged plan to bug out and that person is either supposed to bring a predetermined amount of supplies or already preposition them at the bug out location (BOL). That way you know those folks ain't gonna be depending on your charity and will provide at least something to get them through a certain period of time when they show up on your doorstep :eek:

+1, ZA.....Pretty much have the "tickets" in place already, tentatively.....it's hard to square so many variables when your available support is so spread out like mine is (coast-to-coast, and numbering less than 20).

I really wish I had more local connects, and need to work on that - without endangering OPSEC.

I realized, after putting together a "list" w/the wifey, the few who are on ours would actually be a heavy burden, because most of them (6) believe in the "3-day, wait for FEMA" style of prepping, rather than preparing for real SHTF-type scenarios.....even here in Tornado Alley....

I would say that the "FEMA Save Us" folks are a liability rather then an asset.

Yeah...that's the hard part: Letting loose of liabilities, even though you know it'll possibly/probably endanger them, but mine come first....everyone else is expendable next to them....even me.

I'm just glad that my wife & kiddo are so onboard, and have been since inception. We're a damn good team, and we have high expectations of ourselves, each other, and others that we allow into our COT.

I guess that really says it all for me: Until further notice...I don't need a list. I know who's invited, 'cause they're the only 2 folks I know local who I can depend on to have my back, and trust me with their's too.
