In post #7 the .com on soap making still works. Interesting and seems like easy instructions.

here's a website with directions and a video, don't know how good the video is, as this computer doesn't want to play it.

    http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Your-Own-Soap

But I'm sure there's a ton on YouTube.

Personally, I went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of soaps to keep with my long-term supplies.

No No No. I did not mean that. It is just that the women folk tend to know more about such things.

ah, ha. so just 'cause I'm a girl, you think I can make homemade soap? :p

    I haven't the foggiest.

Sounds like a cool project though, I'll add it to my list of things to do, and if I ever get around to it, I'll post pictures!!
There are, of course, a million and one websites that teach you how, I'm sure some of them must have pictures.

    started a topic For Brosia

    For Brosia

I know this is not exactly "food" but can you do a photo essay on making homemade soap? I have a degree in European history, and I know what the Romans and Greeks used, and you do not want to know what it was. I for one would not use their method for washing cloths.
Working...
