    Altoids.

Great list. Some time ago, SkyOwl asked me to get some - for the tins. This must be what he had in mind.

    Another mystery solved!

No, he hates them. Unless they are the cinnamon ones, then he'll eat them. Of course, I had to buy the peppermint ones. :p

The girls bags are packed with 2 of these tins. One is a small first aid kit. Just band aids and wipes for small cuts and scrapes. I'm always refilling these after a hike. The other is a small fire kit with fat wood, pj cotton balls, lighter and a box of matches.

No firesteel and striker? Why not?

I have several. One has a home made 40 meter transceiver and another has an 80 meter transceiver. I built a CW keyer in one. They work great and take up no room.

Good deal. The possibility for use is only limited to ones imagination.

I've seen that before, then couldn't find my link. Thanks for posting it.

My kit has similar contents including benedryl as I can be highly allergic to just about anything. I do not use an altoids tin, though, rather a plastic water tight cigarette box. Its about half again as big, but still carriable. Sold at most smoke shops for $5.

I tranferred the contents of my Ritter PSK into one - less conspicuous that way.
