ASI Pasimax 12 guage tactical shotgun. Actually, a very, very nice Benelli clone for those who are , or are taller then 5'9". Two problems with this shooter. First, no aftermarket up grades. The second is the rear stock. The length of pull is too long for those who are around 5'7". A heavy winter coat adds to, and compounds the problem. Were there an after market adjustable stock which would allow one to tweak the LoP, as well as the drop at comb and the drop at heel this gun would be a keeper..

Aguila 60 grain .22 long rifle.
It takes a special rifling twist to shoot this crap accurately.
Almost ALL .22 r.f. rifles have a twist to stabilize a standard 40 grain
bullet and most will stabilize the 29 grain of the .22 short but not all that well.
Regular Aguila .22 long rifle ammo shoots plenty well enough, often quite well.
Standard velocity and sub sonics are pretty good.

Just added a UTG tactical belt to an amazon order, sewing was so poor I cut the buckle off and threw the belt away. Btw made in China, should have known.

Regarding the portable chainsaw, my son uses one for Boy Scouts. The difference with his is that it comes with actual handles instead of straps. It is called the "Pocket Chainsaw" by Supreme Products Inc.

We have one dog who is terrified of storms. She will come to you shaking with fear when there is thunder and lightning. Call me soft-hearted or soft-headed; but I will hold her and pet her, and she will calm down. At least the shaking stops. Maybe it is just making me feel better, but I think it works for her.

Back to the original post: I bought an Ozark Trail flashlight and headlamp. The flashlight is great; 200 lumens; runs on 2 AA batteries. The headlamp was a POS. Didn't work. Returned it and got a second; same thing didn't work. Not playing that game anymore. Taking it back to get another brand.

I had to look that one up.

(here's where I found it if anyone else is wondering: http://www.thundershirt.com/Product/ThundershirtForCats.aspx?item_guid=04a62476-dd84-4c67-ae9b-83f2fb67db81)

Could have used one for our old, sweet, wonderful pooch who was TERRIFIED by fireworks and thunder.

Great name for a product, too, btw.

But don't know if they work. I've heard that giving an animal reassurance and comforting/petting it when it's nervous in that way can actually reinforce it's behavior. Don't know if that's a widely accepted 'truth' or not, and/or if a Thunder shirt would make much difference. Hard not to want to help an animal when they're so distressed in that way.

I have two German Shepherds, both rescues, both nervous in storms. I bought them each a Thunder Shirt. One dog loves his. The other runs away when I pull the Thunder Shirt out. So in my experience, you have a 50/50 chance. I would recommend, though, if your dog is between sizes, you buy the smaller of the two.

does anyone have any experience with the Thunder Shirt for dogs? My new dog is a nervous Nancy....she was homeless and picked up off the streets in Georgia, brought down to a no-kill shelter in Florida, where she sat for 6 months....she has separation anxiety big time, kinda like Myakka when he can't see me.....
