I have added a second BOB box. When my new German back pack gets here on 12-3-08, it will fit inside it. Here are photos. Next post will list contents.

        The list

3 bags of pre cooked long term storage Zatarains Cajun meals. 2 are beans and rice, one has sausage with Jambalaya

        1/4 lb of dried beef

        2 soy free energy bars

1 bag freeze tried tater flakes

1 bag salted deshelled sunflower seeds

2 tins of tuna salad with crackers

        1 small bag of coffee

2 mini bottles of Skyy Vodka

        1 tin smoked sardines

        2 tins smoked oysters

1 4 pack of Slim Jims

1 small tin of evaporated milk

6 small individual tubes of freeze dried coffee crystals

        small tin of deviled ham

        25 Pork bullion cubes

        Salt and pepper shaker

        Small bottle of Tylenol

        Small bottle of honey

        Small bag of twist ties

2 "Squenchers". We use these in the olifield. Like gatorade, but sugar free and taste better.

        3 spoons

        Bottle of Break free

Small bottle of liquid energy (B-12)

        Small bottle of lotion

        2 gun wipes

        Bottle of vitimins

        2 small screw drivers

        Roll of hemp string

        1 solar light

And....to aleviate ANY controversy...a pouch of pre-moistened toilet paper.

3 blue scrub rags from surgery (Clean of course)

I have some more room...any suggestions?

Good deal on the "Squeenchers". We use them in the telecom industry as well. I love them and they work better than gatorade. My favorite flavor is Lemon/Lime :)

Best use I ever had for them was to mask the taste of bottled water in Costa Rica. Water was cold but had an aftertaste, so I mixed with the Squeenchers and it helped!

          Good kit!

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to
beat you to death with it because it is empty.

The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get.

I like the Orange ones, but the lemon-lime are pretty good too. I have even added them to water from a horse trough. Made it drinkable as far as flavor goes. I am in charge of ordering them, so I get them in bags of 100. I usually grab a few for myself.

In reference to the vacuum packers, I have the food saver one, it works well but you have to have the food saver bags. I recently bought another one from www.sorbentsystems.com that will vac seal any plastic bag, they also sell all types of bags , the idea is to keep the oxygen away from the food, so they also sell oxygen absorbers, works like a desicant bag but absorbs oxygen.
Ive been buying dehydrated foods fron WWW. HarmonyHouseFoods.com buy in bulk and vac-pac in smaller packs with an oxygen absorber inside, then I stack the bags in 5-gal buckets with sealing lids.
Ive looked at alot of sourcges for dehydrated food, most places really soak you on the shipping, or charge alot for the packaging (#10 Cans) .
The quality of the stuff at Harmony House is great and orders over $100 are free shipping.
                Check em out!
