You have a better then a 50/50 chance of being on top of either mesquite, cactus, goatshead, or some other nasty plant with sharp thorns, or stickers. It may, and I mean MAY hold up for 1 use.

got ya, re sand and mud that's why i usually carry some big boards etc if i'm going to be in anything like that

yeah those have been around for awhile... i dunno man.. not so much of an advantage or must have for me. you can do it manually or even electric of your cig lighter. what's the benefit to the exhaust method?
