I agree with you UnboundOne. I am not a member of a Christian church and have my own belief system. It doesn't mean that we are any less. While it is my "Gods" that grant me my rights, and it is Glenn's "God", in the end, we live by our principles and morals.

I agree that most of us here live these principals daily. I believe what Beck is doing is to start at the basic level of the ideology that he wants to initiate. Basically get everyone one the same level of thought, then proceed with the plan. I am fairly new at watching his shows, however, I have listened to his radio show for about a year. He makes a lot of sense. The boy can get ya riled up for sure.

Ditto Lil Bear! I have lived by these principals all my life as well as the rest of my family. My parents brought me up by the rules of the Constitution and the Bible. These were the 2 most important things in our family. My father was a believer and he's most likely rolling in his grave!

I posted a thread on this earlier and I hope that no one reads to deep into Beck; take him at face value.
He has issued a challange... to take shared values and beliefs and put them to work in your community; to do something, to get together with friends and neighbors and discuss what is happening in our country.

For one, I will take it on. I have began again to address prepardness with neighbors and friends that I have spoken to into the past and not had much success with.

Do you have a pit in your stomach that says something is horribly wrong...

I am using the approaching hurricane season to "baby-step" some folks into being better prepared. I am going to show them the .gov sites, ready.gov and pandemicflu.gov so they can see that their "goberment" takes this stuff serious enough to devote bandwith to it!:eek:
I think that will get some of their attention, some of them it may not, but I will try again. I get my foot in the door with this and we can talk more and build it from there.

What I am trying to say (type) is that Beck has issued a challange to every American. What will you do- that is the question.
