I suppose this really wouldnt apply to those of you who have a very rural, isolated bug-out location, this is more for those of us who are more urban and not lucky enough to have a 40 acre plot in the middle of nowhere in which to hunker down and wait it out. Although some of the same concepts apply to the very isolated preparers.

I've noticed posts from several who live in apartments or in neighborhoods with people all around. Because of jobs, kids, schools, finances, or whatever reason, we dont have our isolated location to go to. I have a large family with farmland and will be moving my camper there as soon as I get the house finished, in case TSHTF and I do have to leave. If something happens before then, I can still make my way there, if possible.

But if you cant leave your location or home, what will you do? How do you plan on protecting yourself 24/7? Do you have local friends, neighbors, or relatives that are like-minded and preparation-savvy? Its hard to defend the perimeters round the clock when you are one single person, or even a couple of people. Even something as minor (when TSHTF its NOT minor) as making sure the vegetables in the backyard garden dont get pilfered before dawn. Little things like that can be a life or death matter when it comes to survival for your family. What are you doing to protect it?

There are some of us who believe we will endure these upcoming events single handedly.....well ...that may be the case for a short while....however on our way to our sanctuaries we will encounter those that would attempt to take what we have....and those who are seemingly unprepared....we'll need to respond appropriately to both. After addressing the problem with the former those that have not prepared may be able to contribute to our overall survival....Our society as with any encompass warriors, poets, muscians, bakers, shoemakers ect....while many of those around us do not share our views they may still prove to be dependable, reliable companions.

ok let me get this right you live with in well say 50 miles of the gorge between knoxville and ashville so we will pick yall up on the way to the bol then we gotta close the gorge and start a small community got it.man we can be done by 5:00 woohoo

We're working on building a team for SHTF and hopefully a micro-network of local survivors. This way we can watch each other's back.
