  • Jute Twine

Jute twine is always part of my gear. We all know how useful 550 cord can be, but when out practicing skills jute twine is alot cheaper to use rather then wasting your 550 cord, it's light, it's cheap and can be used as a firestarter. It is also very strong and natural looking.

The last time I went to Harbor Freight Tools their twine was clearanced out for something like 12 cents for a pack of 2 100' balls. I cleared the shelf, you can never have enough. And the tent stakes were real cheap too(like 27 cents for 6), gotta love clearance prices.

I've used jute as a wrap on walking staffs.

That's a good idea. I'm making a walking staff right now and think I'll try that.
