I shudder to think what he was doing with it to make his parents demand a return.
- Blinding border patrol helicopters?
- Shining it in the neighbor's windows at night making them think they were being scooped up by aliens?
- Signaling the space shuttle?
P.S. I have no idea how many flashlights we have. I have a solar charged one on my desk for when the lights go out, I see three on SkyOwl's desk. I know of 2 in my truck and 3 in his - one of each of those in our OMG-the-vehicles-are-dead-we-must-walk-out bags. He's got one on his bed table, I have one in my purse (handy RGW job for map reading at night - I LOVE that sucker!). And I'm sure he's got some that he didn't tell me about, too.

We keep them scattered all over the house.. Mostly El Cheapos. The three incandescant lights at the far right are reserved for "Younger guests" when visiting for a Marshmellow roast at our firepit. The NRA SG shell Freebie stays in the bathroom at the far corner of the house. You don't want to have to navigate your way out of there, through our laundry room, at night during a power outage without a light. Don't ask how I know.
