I like this concept.
I used to do alot of cross country snow camping, I had to carry extra gear for the winter environment. Most hiking and all frame packs sucked because the weight distribution was all wrong and threw me off balance. I ended-up using my Med. ALICE pack with a belt which was OK, not perfect. Personaly I have to use belted packs due to back injuries.The road to serfdom is paved with free electric golf carts.
