Other than an army surplus store, where is a good place to get women's and children's camos? I need to get the family stocked up.

I have looked there, but I am wanting to get them a set of fatigues (they want all of us to match). I think they are more durable than the camo clothes you find in wally world and such.

        Hey Lil Bear,

I found this site, though I don't really have the time to check it out completely, but if you want to wade through it and see if you can find something appropriate...have at it. :D

I have looked extensively for children size bdu's that match either current or older military camo, and have come up empty. That is why we went with Cabela's and a Realtree pattern. All family members have the same pattern and all members of our group are required to use the same pattern. They are spendy, but are different than most you will see, so we can differentiate ourselves if we need to.

Oh, I forgot. The other option we considered was purchasing the smallest bdu's we could find surpluss and having them tailored to fit children. It was cheaper than the way we went, but a hassle, so we skipped it. For someone on a budget, find a cheap tailor or someone from church who can do it for you.

Thanx OZ, I will go through it tomorrow.

Avking, I have gone through several websites that have kids camos, but they have mostly the old style woodland pattern. There were a few that had the new digital pattern but it was expensive. There is a new pattern that seem like it would be very effective. It is called digial woodland and is a lot greener than the current ACU digital pattern. However, I could not find any m65 field jackets in that pattern. I am still browsing. Thanks for the info.
