It saddens me to see so many people that think all they can do is wait for the end to come. It's almost as if our faith in our country is gone. If everyone thinks this way then our country is already lost. America is no more. We are nothing more that a bunch of individuals sitting around waiting for someone to come along and kill us for the gun in our hands. So many talk about whats wrong yet no one will stand up and take action to bring us back to the great nation we once were without talking of violence.
The thing that really saddens me is that I may live long enough to have to tell my children that I'm sorry that I had a chance to change there future and didn't.

This IS the problem .... elected folks speaking for US but speaking words contrary to our wishes.

We have a process in place that does work. We need to use it. Get behind those that think like we do and get them where they need to be so they can get us all back on track..

I disagree .... it does NOT work nor was it intended to .... this "process" you speak of is an exercise in appeasement. These like minded folks you speak of are thus only until they take their place amongst the rest of the traitors.

I agree. This is the first time that I have become involved with this magazine, though I bought a cabin beyond the grid almost thirty years ago with the expectation that almost anything can happen. History has proven this if one bothers to read. I have a daughter serving in Iraq at this time. We live in a nowhere place where the dam to our lake has been threatened by terrorist several times.

It is important that everyone should have at least a three months surplus of food and water that you rotate on a regular basis. Whether your food and water is used incase of unemployment, earthquake, terrorist, or whatever, you have it available for you and your family. Have a plan for all your family including pets! This only makes sense. If you do not want to include the care of your pets in times of disaster, then you have no business having them. I bought a horse trailer when I had a horse just in case of fire. Be reasonable and think logically!

Find the people that truly speak for you in your community and support them. We have a process in place that does work. We need to use it. Big talk means nothing without big actions. Stand and be counted. Don't just sit and complain. Get behind those that think like we do and get them where they need to be so they can get us all back on track..

hey guy and gals im new to this and been scoping it out with the bobs and gear and all that. we are a country that was founded on freedoms such as speech pursuite of happines right to bear arms and ive watch as most of these freedoms are being took away. i remeber a saying those who don't look at the past are bound to repeat it. you might say what can i do these guys have done it and its still the same but they tried. lets take a look at hitler and no im not a nazi or anything close Im a God fearing American that has watch his country go down the tolet. We as a nation have been desinatized by the one eyed monster as my grandpa use to call it the news tells us one thing shows tell our kids another. and thats what hitler done he told the people and made them see what he wanted them to see. if you kick a dog long enough it will jump when you come around. its called condition reflex most of the people in the usa are this way they belive what ever is on the tv i say just look at you neighbor and how is he doin. im not say don't watch tv . im just saying take it with a pinch of salt heck some this stuff you need a box. but we who stand for a free country need to stand together for if you stand alone you an easy target. the tee shrit is a great idea let it be a banner for a free country for a free america give me freedom as braveheart said. give me liberty or ill shoot your eye out. i think ben franklin said that. lol and we need a meet and greet let each state do so organize . show support for what we belive in. g r i am with ya i hate how we have so many procrastenators on here we cant get orders for t shirts we can't have meet and greets or agree on anything else the opinions on here are for the most part great ideas too but why the hell can't we have a leader to do some of this stuff i have tried people are scared. back on subject i like this post mags i too have my revoultin bag remember I AM, A VOLUNTEER

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Maybe you know more about the members on this forum than I, but I don't see anyone portraying themselves as a procrastenator. I know we are all at different levels of preparedness, with our preps and knowledge, and I do have a pile of laundry that I should have put in the washer this past weekend, but to label a large portion of the membership here as procrastenators, seems a bit overboard. I'm probably speaking out of turn here, And Diesel, please correct me if I'm wrong, but the T-shirt idea looked to me as a "break even" venture at best. That idea, though a good one, would have taken up quite a bit of time and resources. I'd be willing to bet, that if you PM'd Diesel and explained how YOU would like to take the lead on the T-shirt idea. He might listen.
YOU could:
Have some mockups drawn up.
Get Diesel's approval on the final design.
Locate a supplier and a printer.
Order and pay for a first run (Probably at least 10 shirts in every size. Maybe more for bulk discounts)
Take delivery and setup payment and shipping options for members
Handle the shipping on all future orders

Sounds like a PIA to me... Maybe Diesel thought the same.

As for meet ups. I don't see where it says that we can't meet and greet. I know that many of us already have met. I believe the rules say to keep any plans to PM's. This seems pretty smart to me. I really don't care to post on the internet, where I'm going to be at any particular time, and I'm sure Diesel doesn't want XColony to be held accountable, or be associated with any activities or discussions that could be construed as illegal, or irresponsible.
On the message board, content can be controlled to keep things socially acceptable and XColony a respectable forum. Face to face group meetups.... Not so much.

Nothing ever worth having was easy to get. America is worth fighting for. Being outgunned, outmanned, outclassed, etc, these are not reasons to allow someone to bully you into doing nothing while something you love goes down in flames. I want my name in the column of those that resisted, even if that self same column is nothing more than the death toll. Have faith in God and your country, do what is right even when it is wrong.
