            Range Trip clutter...

Time was when just the trip to the range itself was a chore. By the time I got everything there and set up it was time to head home. I was packing way too much shit.

I wanted to par it all down but always have what I needed. Out comes the notebook, and on every range trip I would write down what I used, didn't use, wanted and didn't want. It quickly became evident that I packed too much crap. This was my "limited" range day loadout for awhile.

I've been running this updated and current loadout. While not bare bones it's definitely streamlined from before. Very manageable still having everything I want/need for a day o' range training.

Of course with the title of this thread, "Kit within kit," this is all leading somewhere.............won't you come along?

yeah not exactly what I meant, but nice to see again another great setup of yours. And yes anytime I got to the range it's a nightmare lugging in all the stuff I want want with me.

So where does this road lead? LMAO

So here finally is my “kit within a kit.” It’s the “KitMat” by MM/Emdom USA, in MC of course. I have two of these currently. One is stashed in my range bag, (hence the range blah blah build up,) the other packed with my BOB Gear.

These are well thought out, well designed and executed pieces of kit. Military Moron has a really nice review on his site. It details the various uses, and examples of how to use it. Here are a couple pictures of the KitMat. I will be adding my KitMat loadout soon……..

                      Mags,
                      That's the coolest thing ever!!!!

If I had a dime for every time my wife yelled as I laid a bath towel across the dining room table for a post shoot scrub down, I could buy a couple of these.
The 12ga.... It's not just for rabbits anymore.

Mags, I live in a very liberal and "progressive" town with lots of hippies, new age types, etc. That's kinda tame compared to some stuff I've seen.

My brother has a pink cell phone. He says none of his co-workers will touch it. Sorta like an anti-theft color.

But hey, if you really like your Hello Kitty bag... :D
If it looks ignernt, but it works, then it ain't ignernt.
