Dad has something like this set up around his chicken house. So far it has alerted him to several opossums and a skunk. He also has one set up for the drive way, the beeper is in the house so they know when someone is coming up the drive.

Cool! I wonder how well it would work outdoors as a perimeter alram system with the possibility of animals setting it off vice intruders.

Thought that some might find this interesting. BikeBandit.com is selling these as garage alarms to protect motorcycles, but I can imagine many more uses.
