These seemed very interesting for an LED, dimmable, solar powered flashlight with 3 NiMh batteries. What do ya'll think? $22 a piece is reasonable if you buy a case. $39 per is pricey though.

I like that it has Litium batteries as they are supposed to last longer and recharge faster. The size is a concern to me but in a survival situation that could actually be a plus.
yeah but from what I have seen their run time stinks, as well as does their output

We got a case of solar powered flashlights in for Christmas gifts this year only $10 a piece.. I bought 1 then decided to pick up the rest of the case after testing it out. I think i saw a thread by Rusty that had a picture of them but i can't find it now.

Iprefer the crank lights....they have an LED array, they don't need batteries...ever....and I once heard a joke about solar powered flashlights and a pollack....what do you do if it's dark, and your batteries are dead?
