I was wondering if this knife is worth the price? I am looking for one for my husband for Father's Day..yeah, yeah, it's going to be late, but the date slipped up on me. Has anyone ever owned one of these and would you recommend it?

For that price my dear, why not get him a gin-u-wine KBar?
One linky; http://www.bestglide.com/kabar_knife.html
Lots of people like the Frost Mora's, Linky; http://www.bestglide.com/frosts_mora...al_knives.html
Just some solid options that lots of others have and use on a regular. Believe it or not, my tastes run towards the more, shall we say, "overpriced.":cool:Well, for me, the action is the juice.....I'm in.

I am debating between the Full Size, USMC KA-BAR, Straight Edge Leather Sheath and the Short KA-BAR, USMC, Serrated Edge Leather Sheath (because of the serrated edge)...hmmm..decisions, decisions.

As Wife said in a previous post, I had ordered two of these beauties, the Ka-Bar's. Had to "pay" my grandson for all the work he did in building my new shed in the back. So... I paid him with my new knife. Now I have to order a replacement. Now my granddaughter wants to "earn" some money so she can get a pocket knife of her own. Wife is coming up with a list of things to do that she can accomplish to earn the money. I think we are preparing some young folks to help defend the homeland. They all want knives. By the way, Wife is thrilled with hers.As Zombie Axe would say...
"Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty."
