I don't see where pocket carrying one of their subcompact models would be a bad thing. Just keep the pocket empty or use a pocket holster. You wouldn't want anything getting inside the trigger guard. The S&W 340PD is my first revolver. It weighs 12oz empty. With a heavy trigger pull, no hammer, great sights, small, light, reliable, and the ability to shoot either full 357mag or 38SP. It's a no brainer pocket weapon IMHO.Last edited by Mags; 05-31-2009, 08:36 PM.Well, for me, the action is the juice.....I'm in.

though not really in my pocket it's tucked into the waistband my .45 commander, 2-4 mags in a pouch carried in similar fashion, small light and kuboton on the keys, more keys, swiss-tech micro tool, phone, cash, mre matches usually, another more useful knife, change, a pen, and wallet with all manner of goodies

Every day items (meaning if I'm just around town) keys, wallet, lighter, smokes, cell phone, and a small folding knife clipped to my belt.
If I head out of town, or to the lake for fishing I usually include my Kabar knife on my belt."Reject the basic assumptions of civilization, especially the importance of material possessions." "The things you own end up owning you"-Tyler Durden
