I got a good find, Cheaper Than Dirt .com. First time I have had them in the field because I have always use long two Tube shaped bags on the roof top racks. Those are are shot now after 12 years of use and I picked these two up for $7.95 a piece. Tight oiled canvas, waterproof bottom, and after watching it perform in the rain; even this canvas would not leak.. just create a damp climate perhaps. They are huge! Extendable top, with straps back to front, left too right, they are "bug out bags". Heavy handles on the side will let me throw all of the Pantry goods in and head for the BOL. Look for them and snag them if you can. I was able to get it all, (not the dog) every peice of soft goods from the air mattress, tarps, sheets and personal gigs in the two bags. There will be no problem tossing every can, jar or loose provisions in these bags and heading to the farm

I am bird dog 'en to find them freinds. I bought these a few months ago and just now got to use them. Looks like "Cheaper than dirt" is out of them now. (I should have bought 10) PF
ps: where has all the surplus stuff gone at these sites? Jeepers!

Correct! I remember well "window shopping" CDT until I saw olive drab in my sleep...seemed the surplus market was endless. Now, not so much... :(
