I'm still putting stuff together to put in a bag when i find/buy one.Yes it is surprising that you do have things that you over look around your house that can be used!

I completely understand this. You'd be so surprised what you already have in your house that is BOB ready. I know I was. I got so many ideas here on this site. I have what I need to get by. I don't have weapons I'll have to let someone else deal with that part of it. I have hand to hand combat but that's it. That may have to be enough. Like what's been said just keep planning and gathering your things and it will come together.

TC, do you live near a military surplus facility/outlet. There may be some good deals on ebay. In the meantime continue to plan/ obtain the things you want to put into your BOB.

no problem. i thought i would try to give you a good deal before i post it under the for sale area. maybe you could trade me something? i prefer to barter anyway. i have several other packs as well. US framed alice packs, molle 2 and some trooper packs. i might have an assault pack left but if i still have the one its a little dirty and beat up.

    cheap BOB.... maybe real cheap....

ok, here goes. first cruise your local flea markets, second hit all of the yard sales, ya never know ya may get lucky. also check out goodwill, salvation army stores, consignment shops. if your looking for nylon bags , always check it out very carefully, make sure no rips or tears, check all seams, feel the condition of the fabric, if it feels crunchy, its probably pretty old or been out in the sun alot, hence a form or dry rot. Good Luck!
