I am from the old school, It's better to make your own. You can surf the web and get some ideas, then hit the salvage fabric stores and look for burlap sacks. Get a few different colors ot RIT and have a dye party in the back yard. I might also suggest using a "Jump suit" to work upon. Moving and sliding around in the bush is combersome enough. Now you wearing a suit of ripped rags.Last edited by pathfinder3081; 04-27-2009, 09:43 AM."And with a collection of minds and talent, they survived"

I purchased one of the do it your self kits on the internet. It gave me a good base to start with ( jacket and pants made of netting ) but there was not even close to enough fabric scraps to attach or good variety of fabric. So I went to the fabric store and a hunting supply shop to get the rest of the fabric I needed to complete it. By it your self you can customize it to your seasons and surroundings.

About 18 years ago I made one and just 2 years ago I bought another one. My origional is made of burlap mostly and it has been used in 7 states for various reasons. It can have the local foliage added to it fast and taken off it fast. My new one I think will be almost as good, but it has plastic composite and I feel this will be a hinderance in a real life situation. But the price was more than good and it dosn't mold, stink or Itch near as bad.

They are hot, heavy when wet and meant to be used when stalking. Which is slow deliberate moving. If I'm on the move and operating on foot out of my BOB or survival kit I'd rather be quick and agile. Don't get me wrong, they are a tool that works well but not for E+Eing.
If you wanna run around cross country through the bush wearing this that's cool. I'll be way ahead of you safe and sound.
Well, for me, the action is the juice.....I'm in.
