I wouldn't call them deposit bags

The are tough little bags, that only come in tacticool colors, they are water resistant, and are great for organizing gear like fire kits, battery and solar kits etc etc.



But to each their own

Um.....I don't think that would be very practical for me.....for one, I don't really have anything that flat that doesn't already have a pocket to go into, and I just think I'd laugh at myself if I was to pull out a stack of deposit bags at the campfire......sorry, D, but I'm leaning a bit towards "dorkfish" on this one.....lol....

D, can you post a pic of one of the bags after it is packed? Do they have plastic zippers? I would like to see the strain on the zipper as purses I have purchased at Walmart tend to lose the little gripper (what is that thing called that is used to zip up?) plus also the zipper tends to separate fairly quickly.

Sounds like it could be a great find!!

Found these at walmart believe it or not.

In the hardware section just hanging from a display in the aisle

About $2.89 Each if I recall

They say they are water esistant, come in 3 colors black, od, and tan

And seem reasonably stout, I bought a bunch for organizing gear in my BOB
