    Yeah, done it a lot. However, I add yeast to it. The Beer makes the bread rise and get real fluffy. Never done it without adding yeast though.

    Beer bread

    1-12 oz beer (your brand) 3 cups all purpse flour 3 tablespoons sugar With beer at room temp combine all 3 ingredients in a mixing bowl and set aside for 30 min. Put your batter in small loaf pan and bake at 350 for 45min-1 hour

    The problem with homemade bread is that you only get about 4 days max until it turns moldy. No preservatives. This stuff has no preservatives, but has 9 months storage. It is good stuff, but I was raised on it.

    Wheres the Bread, Bro?

    I have been eating this for years, since it is German soul food. I looked at it today and it has a 9 month expiration. Now, this is not bread like most Americans are used to, it is very strong tasting, and is make with Rye instead of wheat (I believe this is gluten free for those who need that), but this stuff stores for a long time in the cupboard, and even longer in the Fridge. My favorite way to eat this is toasted with butter and jelly. Not the best for sandwiches, but will work if needed.
