    Echo,

I tried to PM you, but your messages were full. I think Stitch and yourself were looking for these.

Now available in the military colors of Foliage Green & Coyote Brown, The Nalgene® "Tritan Oasis" is BPA FREE and fits in all military style canteen cups. 17049 - Nalgene® Tritan Oasis - Coyote Brown - $7.50

Cool....I'll check with my Nalgene guy this week.

I'm still digging the stainless steel....you can boil in that....:)

That rocks though....I have 4 insulated carriers for that style.

    Thanks...

Very nice, I think it's cool that those BPA free canteens fit in the canteen cups.

That really is a slick set-up!

Care to PM me with the address? I'd be interested in how he made the lid and from what.

              Snow Walker,
Thanks. I am really chomping at the bit for the DHK stainless canteens. They have a 2 inch mouth & a stainless cap. They are designed to be put on/into a camp fire and fit a standard GI canteen cup.

I like the GI style canteens better than the round water containers that are now popular. I have bony hips and the GI style is more comfortable for me to carry.

The Canteenshop has them too. All the sites I glanced at are on back order. The Canteenshop also has the bottles you mentioned above. Im thinking a little higher pricetag, though.
