I hope I can get some photos uploaded on this post, but wanted to share my idea which anyone can make. All it requires if cord, (I use gutted 550 cord), coffee filter or bandana and a cordlock. This will fit my water bottles all the way up to my zebra pot. It holds very well!
Once the big stuff is out you can treat with chemicals or boil.
keep in mind that while it may filter out sediment that is all it will do. They are designed to allow maximum flavor, chemicals etc to pass through and ONLY to prevent grinds from passing through it's probably no diff than a cheese cloth. But nice setup
