Not as wrong as the powdered honey that I recently saw.

The peanut butter powder we have chose to stock has a fairly long shelf life....but I have found it to be fairly salty.

We have found that if you use some light oil in the mix....it becomes creamer...and a bit of sugar to the mix helps with the taste.

For a treat....mix it with honey and spread on crackers.....HIGH ENERGY....and tasty

Are you looking for ways to suppress your appetite during hard times? Things like this just might do the trick. I'm getting a pretty good shelf life on the regular also .... found a three year old jar just the other week. Had to do quite a bit of stirring and it didn't taste as "fresh" as a new jar but hey.

I believe typical peanutbuter has a shelf life of over 2 years, they add emulsifiers to it to keep the oils together etc

    Powdered Peanut Butter

Today I was browsing my local commissary and ran across a 6.5 oz jar powdered peanut butter. It was about $1.50 more than a comparable jar of Jif so I took the plunge. The name is PB2 and is made by Bell Plantations. It only has a manufacturer's shelf life of 1 year. I thought it would not only make instant peanut butter, but also a interesting addition to pancakes, oatmeal and milkshakes.

I will let you know my thoughts on this lightweight and interesting product.:)
