I know, I know-ASPARAGUS?! I found a good recipe. If you like snow peas, then you will like this.

Take about 10-12 6" asparagus stalks clean and dry them.
Take a brown (must be brown) paper bag big enough for the stalks and couple of inches more.
Put asparugus in bag tips upward.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Sprinkle with virgin olive oil.
    Sprinkle lightly with lemon juice.
    Roll top of bag closed.
    Preheat oven to 400*.
Put bag on cookie sheet and place in oven.
    Bake for about 20 minutes.
Watch bag carefully (bag will change color but will not burn).
Take out of bag and serve.

My 7 yr old loved them. My wife is kind of picky and she even like them. To me they tasted just like fresh snow peas.

I do about the same seasoning minus the lemon juice and throw them on a hot grill with whatever happens to be grilling that day. I'll try it your way next time. Had I logged on sooner I could have tried it tonight ,I grilled some for dinner this evening.
Every Day , Is A Bonus.

You can cook them on the grill the same way, may take a little longer though.
