A friend at work got tired of tripping over her water storage bottles, so she told her husband what she wanted, and he few days later he gave her this.

At 2.2 pounds per liter, the payload should be right around 700 lbs.
I like it because your usage would be easier to monitor, as opposed to larger containers. You also don't have to worry about your entire supply if some kind of contamination occurs.
In the event of a quick evac, you can just grab what you can and go.

That's a great idea! I have a rather huge water cistern in the "shelter" but I think I'm going to make one of these too, for the reasons pointed out. It would be easier to monitor usage and that may be important.
